Job Overview

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join an elementary school team for the 2024-2025 school year.

This onsite, full-time position starts ASAP and runs through June 13, 2025. As an RBT, you will work with students who require behavior therapy and support, assisting them in developing essential skills while receiving direct BCBA supervision on-site.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct one-on-one or small group behavior intervention for students under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
  • Collect data on student progress and behavior in accordance with behavior protocols.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and BCBAs to develop and implement effective strategies for student success.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and management when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families regarding student progress and needs.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required.
Requirements
  • Current RBT certification is required.
  • Previous experience working as an RBT, especially in a school setting, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from a BCBA.
  • Passion for helping children and contributing to their academic and behavioral development.
  • Must be available to work full-time hours (35 hours per week) during the contract period.
