Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Systems
    • Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning systems.
  • Perform Routine Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Use Diagnostic Tools
    • Use advanced diagnostic tools to accurately identify automotive problems and recommend repairs.
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Communicate effectively with service advisors and parts department to ensure timely completion of work and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Working Environment
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Proven Experience
    • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with experience working on Acura and Mazda vehicles preferred.
  • Strong Understanding of Automotive Technology
    • Strong understanding of automotive technology and diagnostic tools, including computerized diagnostic systems.
  • Ability to Work Efficiently
    • Ability to work efficiently and troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • ASE Certification
    • ASE certification preferred, but not required.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical certification in automotive repair preferred.
