Job Summary

MDpanel is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Traveling Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Traveling Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical support to multiple physicians in various locations throughout California, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of medical opinions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to physicians, including preparing for scheduled evaluations, managing supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct front and back office medical assistant duties, including taking vital signs, measuring body measurements, and performing visual acuity screening.
  • Assist physicians with basic medical procedures, such as EKG and Spirometry testing.
  • Score and generate evaluation report summaries accurately and timely.
  • Manage and maintain inventories of supplies needed for evaluations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including applicants, interpreters, and physicians.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid CA driver's license, valid car insurance, and good driving record required.
  • CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Comfortable with technology, including EMR/EHR, Microsoft Office, and Google Platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Spanish speaking a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare, Workers' Compensation, and Legal experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of designated geography.
  • Positive and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Effective time management.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

Traveling Medical Assistants will be required to travel to multiple locations throughout California, working with multiple physicians in various settings. A flexible schedule is needed, with part-time hours of 2-4 days per week, Monday-Sunday, with rotating weekends and shifts varying.
