Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
- Assist with clinical services, including the collection and labeling of blood/urine samples, and coordinate with external providers as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Staff Pharmacist, including maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
