Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove Miami. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to prevent and investigate security incidents
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR as needed
  • Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all security-related documents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior work experience necessary, but a strong desire to learn and grow with our team
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
