Student Success Collaborative Specialist

Winston-Salem State University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Success Collaborative Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position that will play a critical role in supporting student success initiatives across the university.
Job Summary:The Student Success Collaborative Specialist will report to the Director of the Student Success Collaborative and will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and development of resources/tools related to student advising, student interventions, and student usage of related campus resources. This individual will work collaboratively with individuals in University College, Enrollment Management, the Office of Information Technology, and Student Affairs to provide ongoing maintenance of data integrity, user training, and effective outreach to drive usage.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement student success initiatives and programs that improve student engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with university stakeholders to integrate student success data into strategy and operations.
- Provide training and professional development on student success data tools to administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
- Work with the Student Success Collaborative team to develop and maintain data reports and insights to inform student success initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with campus partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Masters degree in a relevant field such as Education, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Student Affairs, or a related area.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Higher Education, working with student success programs and providing student support.
- Experience with learning outcomes assessment, academic advising, learning support activities, program development, and general education reform.
- Experience with EAB Navigate or similar systems at an advanced level, including system administration, integration with other campus resources, and extensive user training.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in academic advising and student success initiatives.
- Doctoral degree preferred.
- Certification or formal training in Project Management, Data Analytics, or a relevant area of student success and advising.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and developing inclusive programs and services.
