Job Overview

The Community Church & Virginia Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Afternoon Preschool Assistant. This part-time position involves providing high-quality care and supervision to students during afternoon hours (3p-6:30p).

  • Know and adhere to all policies and procedures, including crisis management.
  • Model Christ-like character and demonstrate a commitment to spiritual growth.
  • Provide proactive care and supervision to students, ensuring their safety and security.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A genuine believer and active follower of Christ.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • One year of experience in childcare, youth ministry, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the Bible and ability to lead Bible lessons.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $15-$20 per hour. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
