Job Summary

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective patient care under the direction of our experienced Program Directors and Unit Charge Nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, utilizing effective crisis prevention and intervention techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing (strongly preferred).
  • CPR certification (offered on-site).
  • Handle With Care certification (offered on-site).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
