We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team as an F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Off-board Mission Systems SME. As a key member of our operations employment team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our customer's mission planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the personnel assigned to the Mission Planning Support Environment (MPSE) and serve as the primary point of contact for the Nellis Off-board Mission Systems Team.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in all facets of the F-35 ALIS MPSE system, including mission planning, avionics architecture, and system troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with customers, pilots, and maintenance technicians to identify and resolve system shortfalls and ensure effective sorties.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Act as the team's interface with the site-lead, OMS Manager, and the ALIS program office.
- Interact daily with users and act as a Subject Matter Expert for the ALIS product suite.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, pilots, and maintenance technicians on mission planning, avionics architecture, and system troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations to support customer needs and internal stakeholders.
- Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
- At least 4 years of experience with 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft (F-2- F-35).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Avionics/Mission systems (MS) and/or Vehicle System/APG (VS).
- Prior experience working with Pilot Weapons School or Operational Test (OT) environments.
- Experience with IT, Mission Planning/system/network administration.
- COMSEC and COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) experience.
- Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS) experience.
- Military Flight Operations & Planning Processes.
- Account Maintenance using Active Directory/LDAP.
