Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counselor Supervisor to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising counselors and counselor interns, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct Counselors: Provide guidance, support, and oversight to counselors and counselor interns, ensuring they meet the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Review Intake Assessments: Conduct thorough reviews of intake assessments to ensure quality and accuracy, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide Clinical Supervision: Offer regular clinical supervision to counselors and counselor interns, focusing on case management, treatment planning, and patient outcomes.
  • Manage Counseling Staff: Oversee the performance of counseling staff, including performance improvement discussions, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Support Licensure and Certification: Provide guidance and support to counselors seeking licensure and certification.
  • Conduct Employment Interviews: Participate in employment interviews with clinical and practice managers to ensure the best fit for our team.
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree (MLADC) or LADC with LCS: Possess a master's degree in a relevant field or a LADC with an LCS.
  • Supervisory Experience: Have prior supervisory experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Positive Attitude and Experience: Demonstrate a positive attitude towards our chemically dependent patients and have previous experience working with this population.
  • Criminal Background and Drug Screen: Pass a satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
