Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, Washington. This per diem position offers scheduling flexibility and great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized CT procedures, integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging.
  • Operate CT scanners for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images, and perform quality control measures to ensure optimal quality images.
  • Apply the ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor, and evaluate patients for pregnancy prior to exams.
  • Perform other patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with Caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience, and license/certification.
Requirements
  • Accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Demonstrated venipuncture competency required.
  • PACS/RIS knowledge required; EPIC RIS, FUJI, and IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred.
  • ARRT-R state Radiology Technologist license required.
  • Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
