Job Summary

Xylem I LLC is seeking a highly skilled Aerial Lift Trimmer to join our team. As an Aerial Lift Trimmer, you will be responsible for trimming, pruning, and removing trees with the aid of a bucket truck or other equipment or tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tree Trimming and Pruning: Trim and prune trees to maintain a safe distance from utility lines and other obstacles.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate aerial lift equipment, such as bucket trucks, to access trees and perform trimming and pruning tasks.
  • Debris Removal: Remove branches and tree material from the work area and dispose of them properly.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used in daily operations.
  • Safety Protocols: Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Storm Work: Perform duties for storm work as needed, including clearing and trimming trees and brush away from utility lines.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years previous professional experience operating an aerial lift trimmer or jarraff is required.
  • Education: High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
  • Skills: Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of all knots, ropes, and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operations. Must be able to identify tree species and work and maneuver at considerable heights under varying and adverse weather conditions.
Working Conditions

The Aerial Lift Trimmer will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often at heights, and may be exposed to extreme weather conditions. The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers is essential.
