About the Role

ViaSun Corporation is seeking a skilled Preservation Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our road maintenance crew, you will play a critical role in the preservation and maintenance of road surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Assist with the preparation of road surfaces for preservation work, including cleaning, sweeping, and crack filling.
  • Preservation Materials Application: Assist with the application of preservation materials such as seal coat, chip seal, or slurry seal.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment and tools necessary for preservation work.
  • Traffic Control and Safety: Assist with traffic control and ensure a safe work environment.
  • General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks and equipment cleanup.
Requirements
  • No Experience Required: While previous experience in road maintenance or construction is preferred, it is not required.
  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Weather Adaptability: Be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Safety Focus: Demonstrate a dedication to safety and attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid AZ driver's license (preferred).
