Job Summary


Garduno's Busser is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.


Responsibilities



  • Work under direction of Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Communicate daily with Kitchen leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe
  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of dining area
  • Maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing utensils, and being alert to beverage needs
  • Prepare dining outlets for service, checking service stations and tables to ensure correct set-up and cleanliness
  • Resolve issues for any approaching guests in a professional and timely manner
  • Answer the phone and assist with guest seating, serving food or (non-alcoholic) drinks as requested
  • Handle all checks and cash according to procedures stipulated
  • Roll silverware, set up food stations or dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties
  • Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property

Requirements



  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required
  • Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask
  • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
