Geospatial Project Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Geospatial Project Leader to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time position that requires at least 10 years of combined experience in all phases of land surveying, construction, boundary, and topographic surveying.

About the Position

The successful candidate will have expertise in operating and maintaining all instruments and measuring devices, including levels, robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors. They will be responsible for independently performing surveying assignments, providing accurate measurements, and delivering high-quality data relevant to the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimension of land or land features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently performs surveying assignments, making exact measurements, and providing data relevant to the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimension of land or land features.
  • Operates and maintains all instruments and measuring devices, including levels, robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors.
  • Knowledge of Trimble Field Equipment and data collector software.
  • Download and upload survey data to data collectors and office computers.
  • Collaborate with project teams to achieve success and maintain high levels of quality control measures on projects and daily operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of land surveying experience.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Working knowledge of surveying principles and practices.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $115,000.
