Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cook to join our hotel kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and Cooking: Prepare all food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring an appealing and appetizing product for guests.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout the kitchen, adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Banquet and Room Service: Prepare and serve food for banquets and room service, following specifications on Banquet Event Orders.
  • Employee Cafeteria: Prepare and serve food for the employee cafeteria as specified by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: 1+ years of experience in a hotel or restaurant setting, with a strong understanding of menu preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of Menus: Thorough knowledge of menus and preparation required, according to hotel standards.
  • Cooking Techniques: Proficiency in charbroiling, poaching, deep-frying, sautéing, braising, roasting, and par-cooking.
