About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide high-quality patient care and support our team in a fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating medical equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate medical equipment, such as catheters and imaging devices, to assist with procedures and diagnose conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient information accurately.
  • Transport patients as needed and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure patient safety and quality care.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
