Medical Assistant or LPN

Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned physician practice(s). Works in collaboration with physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Nurse Practice Act.
- Collaborate with the physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers.
- Perform various clinical and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of the physician practice.
- High school graduate or equivalent with GED.
- Completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
- Graduate of a school of nursing.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT).
- Current state Licensed Practice Nurse license.
- CPR certification.
- Medical assistant or physician office experience.
- Sufficient previous clinical experience in area of assignment.
- Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives.
- Electronic medical record experience.
