Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team at Custom Engineering Company. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling structural components using various materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble structural components using plate and structural materials
  • Operate various welding equipment, including torches, MIG, and TIG welders
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure adherence to specifications and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
  • Run overhead cranes and forklifts to move parts throughout the shop
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings and specifications
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations
  • Ability to pass various types of weld tests
