About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at the Jewish Community Center of Dallas's Early Childhood Center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of our students. Your expertise in child development, instructional strategies, and family engagement will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of our children and their families.

Duties and Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating effectively with parents.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of five years' experience teaching preschool or working in a related field.
  • An education-related degree or be in the process of obtaining one, with a CDA certification preferred.
  • CPR/Infant CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Benefits and Compensation
Our competitive salary range is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
