Job Opportunity

Formaggio Kitchen Inc. is seeking a skilled butcher and meat cutter to join our team. As a butcher and meat cutter, you will work in a fast-paced retail setting, primarily with whole animals. We offer training for those without prior experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in purchasing meat and maintain the quality and appearance of the butcher case.
  • Organize and clean the work area and walk-in fridge.
  • Know the different cuts and sausages we carry and make recommendations based on that knowledge.
  • Modify cuts to customer specifications.

Requirements:

  • At least one year's butcher counter experience or willingness to learn.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to take direction.
  • Great customer service, communication skills, knife skills, and ability to work cleanly and quickly.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
