Job Title: 2nd Grade Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 2nd Grade Teacher to join our team at Wayne County Schools Employment Network.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and social development in our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  2. Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes active learning and participation.
  3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  5. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in their child's education.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  2. Valid Michigan teaching certificate or equivalent.
Working Conditions:

This is a 40-week per year position with a salary according to the master contract.
