Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused driver to join our team as a Medical Waste Collector. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering medical waste containers to our healthcare customer locations in the Sturtevant, WI area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver medical waste containers to customer locations
  • Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers
  • Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently
  • Complete deliveries on time and communicate any changes or challenges to leadership
  • Load and unload medical waste containers, prioritizing and organizing the truck according to schedule and needs
  • Manage a route as directed by leadership, delivering timely, efficient, and effective service
  • Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and participating in roadside inspections
Requirements
  • Experience in delivery or transportation, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Flexible and can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
  • Experience operating large vehicles, such as 26-foot box trucks
  • DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections experience
  • Confidence in a road check level 1 through level 3
  • Proven longevity in past employment
  • On-time delivery practices
