- Encourage patient independence through education on self-care practices and medication management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to address patient needs and enhance service delivery.

- Deliver comprehensive patient care by recognizing age-specific needs during assessments and educational interactions.
- Initiate and oversee the discharge process, ensuring patients receive clear instructions and necessary educational materials.
- Administer blood transfusions and assist healthcare professionals during procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Develop educational strategies tailored to patient and family needs, focusing on health maintenance and self-care.
- Ensure continuity of care by reviewing postoperative orders and coordinating with receiving units.
- Stay informed about advancements in procedures and treatments to provide optimal care.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. Candidates should possess strong leadership skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and prior experience in critical care or PACU settings are preferred.
Licensure and CertificationsCurrent licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state is mandatory, along with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
