Job Summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Laborer Support Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Laborers and Site Support department. This role involves managing a represented laborer workforce responsible for Roads and Grounds maintenance, including asphalt roads, railroad maintenance, herbicide application, and landscaping of desert vegetation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the work of employees performing Roads and Grounds maintenance.
  • Assign and direct personnel, processes, and work product.
  • Maintain schedules and workflow of the team.
  • Direct the team on a course of action based on knowledge of established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor projects to ensure completion and within budget.
  • Contribute to the hiring and performance management of staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy 'L' clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
