Compensation: Pay rate $21-22/hr.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead and mentor a team responsible for overseeing processing machinery by monitoring critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, and humidity levels. Your role is vital in ensuring that products are efficiently transported throughout the facility while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize, delegate, and oversee the tasks of operators.
  • Operate processing machinery to guarantee that customer products adhere to established procedures. Input recipes into the system, verify product alignment on the production floor, oversee quality control, and identify any defective items.
  • Create and manage an order schedule; direct operations according to customer specifications.
  • Ensure the safe receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of quality food products.
  • Accurately document product information in the computer system.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by testing the high-pressure processing system with their products to ensure compliance with specifications and report any issues to management.
  • Utilize a forklift to transfer products from staging areas to the processing department.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a processing equipment operator.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may vary based on facility requirements.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
  • Capability to work in extreme temperatures, ranging from -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage, while utilizing company-provided personal protective equipment.
  • Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, which can be loud at times.
