Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients or potential clients to promote the Bank's offerings, ensuring their needs are met while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Build and sustain a network of developers, real estate agents, attorneys, accountants, and other potential referral sources.
  • Market and cross-promote the Bank's loan products and services utilizing approved marketing materials.
  • Originate new mortgage and home equity loans, gathering all necessary information and documentation from clients.
  • Utilize various systems and applications to navigate products and recommend profitable solutions from both inbound and outbound sales leads.
  • Skillfully design lending products alongside companion products and pricing that lead to successful client sales.
  • Demonstrate consistent sales performance in volume or units over time.
  • Stay updated on various loan options and conduct interviews with applicants to evaluate their loan needs.
  • Advise applicants on the most suitable options for their circumstances.
  • Provide all necessary disclosures to clients, including loan fees and costs.
  • Deliver progress updates to clients and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior banking experience is essential.
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Full competency in business mathematics and basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret findings and results, drawing logical conclusions in daily responsibilities. Flexibility to adapt to changing procedures, regulations, job assignments, technological advancements, and new equipment.
  • Proven track record of being a positive team member in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid NMLS registration.
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software applications.
