Optical Transceiver Product Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to understand their needs and requirements and provide technical support for optical transceiver products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products.
- Evaluate product performance and conduct product testing to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, application notes, and user manuals.
- Provide training to customers, sales teams, and field application engineers on the use and application of optical transceiver products.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to the use of optical transceiver products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to optical transceiver products.
- Participate in industry forums and standardization organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in optical transceiver product development or application engineering.
- Knowledge of optical transceiver products, including their use and applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and optical test equipment.
- Experience with programming languages used with optical transceiver and communication equipment a plus.
Location: San Jose area or Seattle area.
