Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team at Pepsi Beverages Company. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly displayed and stocked on store shelves, as well as maintaining a clean and organized backroom and storage areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts
  • Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf to ensure freshness and visibility
  • Transport products to and from the backroom to shelf location using equipment such as U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts to drive sales and engagement
  • Keep backroom stock in neat and orderly condition to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management to ensure prompt resolution
  • Build customer relationships at the store level to drive sales and loyalty
  • Comply with operating procedures such as scan-in/scan-out and following designated routes
  • Service accounts during designated times established by management to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Deliver customer service by communicating effectively, building rapport, and being attentive to customer needs
  • Ability to operate under minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable)
  • Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance
  • Ability to lift, load, push, and pull cases weighing up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to bend, reach, and squat while merchandising and moving products
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a retail or grocery store environment
  • Experience moving products within a store and managing backroom/stock room inventory
  • Experience serving customers and handling customer complaints
