Position Overview:
The Ultrasound Technologist operates ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures. This role requires providing patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner. The successful candidate will report to the Supervising Radiology Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts
• Provide patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner
• Work under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
• Experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a clinical setting
Work Schedule:
• Every Monday, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Additional Requirements:
• As needed, weekend availability
• Call rotation required
• Preferred candidate will have experience in ultrasound imaging and be registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
