Position Overview
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Health at Rutgers University is seeking qualified candidates for multiple full-time faculty roles at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. These positions are open to Board Certified or Board Eligible Physicians specializing in general obstetrics and gynecology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for women during prenatal, labor, and postnatal periods.
- Perform a full range of generalist OB/GYN procedures, including cesarean deliveries and hysterectomies.
- Engage in clinical teaching and mentorship of medical students and residents.
- Participate in departmental research initiatives and contribute to the academic mission of the institution.
Practice Environment
The practice is integrated within a leading academic health center, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities. Faculty members will have opportunities to pursue professional interests in areas such as global health, clinical research, and patient safety.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a valid New Jersey Medical License and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Candidates who are in the process of completing residency training may also be considered.
