Job Overview

Pella Carolina, Inc. is seeking a skilled Installation Manager to lead our Asheville team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Project Coordinators and sub-contracted installation crews.
  • Maintain adequate staffing of support staff and installation crews.
  • Perform order verifications and routine job site inspections.
  • Follow-up with customers after installation is completed and troubleshoot problem jobs.
  • Enforce recovery procedures and track outstanding Accounts Receivable.
  • Interact with Operations and Sales personnel to resolve job-related problems.
  • Strive to achieve customer satisfaction and promote market share growth.
  • Track and hold team accountable for installation metrics.

Requirements:

  • College Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of general carpentry, window/door, or housing industry experience required.
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience as a window installation manager or equivalent.
  • Superior computer skills and excellent verbal and written language skills needed.
  • Ability to present information, gather information, and respond to questions from customers, managers, and co-workers.
  • Able to multi-task and set priorities. Strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to problem solve daily. Self-discipline and self-initiating abilities required.
  • Excellent basic math skills including measurements, dimensions, or windows, size of glass, square footage, discounts, percentages, billing, and credit, etc. required.
  • Basic understanding of construction blueprints required.
