About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Freeport-McMoRan. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and unload goods and materials, and process reservations and issue material to end users.
  • Operate various heavy equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts, to move goods and materials within the warehouse.
  • Deliver material to customers, capture proof of delivery signatures, and maintain a record of delivered items.
  • Implement policies to maintain inventory in usable condition and ensure reliability, including visual inspection of inventory and rotation of movable elements.
  • Update warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain records of delivered items and remaining inventory.
  • Communicate delivery times and possible delays to customers.
Requirements
  • One year of warehouse experience in mining or a similar industry, including consistent operation of heavy equipment within a warehouse environment.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Microsoft Excel, Materials Management software, SAP, and Barcode systems experience preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of $20.00 - $27.00/hour, plus additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
