We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Ardent Health Services. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and other data to identify potential complications and take proactive measures to prevent adverse events.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address concerns or questions.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience in acute care settings, preferably in ICU or critical care units.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
