The Team:

S&P Global Platts is on the lookout for a Client Relationship Manager who will oversee a designated client portfolio across Latin America. This role encompasses client assistance, onboarding processes, and the cultivation of strong relationships. The Client Relationship Manager collaborates closely with Commercial and Client Development teams to identify client needs and deliver valuable services.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to take charge of your accounts and foster relationships with a diverse range of clients. It also allows for deeper insights into energy commodities, price evaluations, and emerging sectors such as Energy Transition. You will have the chance to establish a personal network with commodity analysts, traders, and senior executives.

Additional responsibilities include providing on-site assistance, conducting product training, and integrating Platts services into customer workflows. The aim is to ensure outstanding customer service as a key differentiator. Documentation in Salesforce is necessary for all value-added services (cases/activities).

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Stay informed on current commodity news and partner platforms, serving as a team advocate.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and other teams to address client requirements, deliverables, and feedback.
  • Contribute to the growth of S&P Global Platts by working in partnership with Commercial.
  • Manage client onboarding, product training, relationship development, and client deliverables. Collaborate with Client Service, Editorial, Product, Marketing, and other global teams to seek client solutions.
  • Travel to meet clients to understand their perspectives and share feedback internally as needed. Work with global Client Service teams to share best practices and lessons learned.

What We Are Seeking:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience (finance, banking, or trading).

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in client support and/or sales interactions.
  • A proactive individual who is organized and willing to manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, capable of handling multiple client requests, including product demonstrations and training.
  • Ability to effectively lead individual and group training sessions at all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of energy, commodities, and financial markets.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time to meet clients.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce), Excel, Quip, Zoom, and Teams.
  • Understanding of APIs and technology.
