About the Role:

The Hospital Cleaning Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of healthcare facilities. This includes:

  • Cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
  • Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
  • Sweeping and/or vacuuming floors
  • Dusting furniture and equipment
  • Polishing metalwork
  • Washing walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
  • Empting wastebaskets and transporting trash and waste to the disposal area
  • Replenishing bathroom supplies
  • Transporting small equipment or tools between departments

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
  • Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
  • Medical cleaning a plus
  • Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
