We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geologist to join our team at APTIM Federal Services, LLC. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will be responsible for participating in the development and implementation of site investigations and remedial actions primarily at project locations in the Eastern United States.

Typical tasks may include the design, installation, and monitoring of groundwater, surface water, and soil gas systems, collection of surface and subsurface soil samples for environmental and geotechnical analyses, participation in the design and implementation of both in-situ and ex-situ remedial actions; and assisting or leading the preparation of proposals and project documents.

Strong interpersonal skills are a must, including the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbally, to all project team members and clients alike. This will be a full-time position based out of our Norfolk, VA, Lawrenceville, NJ, or Canton, MA offices.

Responsibilities may also include calibrating, maintaining, and utilizing various field monitoring and measuring instruments, analyzing and preparing raw data into workable form for engineering/scientific project reports, plans, specifications, permits, cost-estimates, and other project documents, and working may periodically involve installation, operation, and maintenance of remediation equipment (pumps, process equipment, piping install, etc.) and supervising other field tasks such as installing and abandoning monitoring/recovery wells.
