Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Support Assistant to join our team at ConnextCare. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support to our dental team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms for patients, cleaning and setting up as necessary between each patient encounter.
  • Perform routine maintenance on dental equipment, including autoclave, developer, and other necessary tasks.
  • Take preliminary medical histories and vital signs to be reviewed by the dentist.
  • Participate in in-service workshops and quality assurance activities as required by the department.
  • Work closely with the dentist and dental staff to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist with and promote all processes associated with the Coleman initiative.
  • Promote Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives.
Requirements
  • High school graduate (or equivalent) and minimum of two full years work experience.
  • Demonstrate proper judgment and decision-making skills when necessary.
  • Comply with the organization's code of conduct, safety rules, and adhere to all company policies.
  • Carry out job responsibilities in an ethical, effective, and professional manner.
  • Must be willing and demonstrate the ability to cooperate, work, and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Must demonstrate computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and electronic medical record system.
  • Must possess a willingness to accept direction from providers and supervisors; must possess the ability to work well and with compassion in stressful situations; must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with both patients and co-workers.
  • Must be keenly aware of the importance of confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
Salary

$15.25-$17.75 Depending on Experience
