Arborist Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated Arborist General Laborer to join our team at Cut Rate Tree Service. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and caring for trees in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support certified arborists with tree pruning, removal, planting, and health assessments
• Operate and maintain tree care equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and pruners
• Safely remove tree debris and ensure clean-up of job sites
• Assist in planting and transplanting trees
• Perform ground duties such as raking, clearing brush, and hauling limbs
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist arborists in assessing tree health and identifying potential hazards
• Learn and adhere to best practices in arboriculture

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in tree care or landscaping preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of tree care tools and equipment
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver's license preferred
