Position Title: SIC Maintenance Multi-Craft Journeyman/FT

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Multi-Craft Journeyman for an ongoing assignment in a controlled environment. This role involves a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute new or modified installations, including fabrication, assembly, rigging, installation, and maintenance of piping, fixtures, structures, machinery, and equipment according to specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment with precision and accuracy.
  • Interpret and follow directions, plans, sketches, and blueprints effectively.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel as directed.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools, including electric saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Operate powered equipment, such as Manlifts, as required.
  • Perform tasks from scaffolding, ladders, or other elevated structures.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Complete all required safety and job training.
  • Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures consistently.
  • Conduct safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and tools to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Work conditions may include exposure to various environments, including offices, shops, and warehouses.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to navigate confined spaces and uneven terrain.
  • Ability to hear and respond to voice commands and alarms.
  • Effective use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, and working in awkward positions.
