Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Resurgens Orthopaedics. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from orthopedic injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and create personalized treatment plans in accordance with physician instructions and patient consent.
  • Provide services that improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent physical disabilities.
  • Supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians to ensure compliance with treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure successful patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information.
  • Provide excellent customer service and educate patients on injury prevention, conditioning, and rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Georgia State License granted by the Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Specialty certifications, such as orthopedics, are welcome.
  • Two years of experience treating patients in an orthopedic setting is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of physical therapy care and treatment of orthopaedic injuries and illnesses.
  • Ability to create and carry out treatment plans as prescribed by referring physicians.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Conflict management skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and their families.
