Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by providing the necessary sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to optimize positive surgical outcomes.

Requirements

  • Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES and holds an active certification by the NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
