Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new products and components, leading engineering projects, and providing technical support to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new products and components, including plastic injection molded parts, die castings, investment castings, stampings, and machine components.
  • Lead engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support to customers, including training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure existing products are adequately designed for manufacturing.
  • Examine cost, material, and manufacturing process analysis, and identify and evaluate alternatives.
  • Design visualization efforts using 3D models and Solidworks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Mathematics, or similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in the defense and commercial technology industry.
  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Mathematics, or similar field, and 6+ years of experience.
