Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store's operations, including hiring, supervising, and training staff
  • Ensure that the store is well-stocked, clean, and organized, and that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced
  • Manage cash handling and bookkeeping duties, including processing transactions and reconciling cash and credit card sales
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Identify and address any operational issues or concerns, and implement solutions to improve store performance
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement store policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, and ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with them

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role
  • Proven track record of success in managing store operations, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee development
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform other tasks that require manual dexterity
