About Our Job

As a Registered Nurse, you'll care for patients with various illnesses, injuries, and diseases in facilities like clinics, medical offices, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and schools.

You'll work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs, and aides providing patient care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition and report changes to physician
  2. Review, interpret, transcribe and carry out physician orders for patients
  3. Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment
Requirements

To succeed as a Registered Nurse, you should possess:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Minnesota
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical facility
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
