At Southern Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical unit team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.
About the RoleThe LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care services. This includes maintaining patient safety, providing comfort and care, and improving the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care services, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum one year of experience in acute care nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
