Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Aerospace Engineer to become an integral part of our team. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with the design, evaluation, and advancement of sophisticated aerospace systems and components. Your responsibilities will include performing aerodynamic assessments and experiments for high-speed hypersonic air-breathing propulsion systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside engineering teams to improve design and infrastructure
• Assist in the development of propulsion systems by tackling challenges and proposing solutions
• Design, assess, and test vehicle aerodynamics at various stages of development
• Leverage test data to enhance analytical predictions and modeling precision
• Create advanced aerodynamic models for different hypersonic vehicle configurations
• Model vehicle dynamics and perform simulations
• Conduct research on guidance and control algorithms
• Generate landing dispersion analyses through simulations
• Mentor junior engineers
• Investigate and document structural or component failures
• Verify design efficiency and functionality
• Simplify the documentation process for aerodynamic design

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering or a related discipline
• 5-10+ years of experience in aerospace engineering
