Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Food City. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, chopping, and grinding meat and seafood products to ensure high-quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut, trim, chop, and grind meat and seafood products to meet customer demands
  • Tray and wrap product to display it for customers in an attractive and appealing manner
  • Maintain a variety of high-quality, fresh product for customers by receiving, storing, and rotating inventory
  • Handle freight, organize coolers, and assist with ordering product to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Operate electric meat saws, grinders, and other meat processing equipment to prepare products for sale

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a meat cutting or butchery role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer demands
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
