Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate unwavering dedication to superior Patient/Customer Service through the execution of our established protocols.
  • Welcome patients and manage phone inquiries as necessary.
  • Conduct services in alignment with Clinical Protocols and industry standards.
  • Ensure accurate diagnoses and provide suitable recommendations for each patient.
  • Foster a positive relationship between Doctor and Patient.
  • Guide Associate Doctors on clinical protocols, including chart audits.
  • Communicate effectively with store associates to facilitate a seamless eyecare experience, ensuring beneficial outcomes for patients.
  • Identify patients' diverse needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Support the development of Associate Doctors and store associates through comprehensive training in various areas, including:
    • Orientation
    • Front desk operations
    • Pre-testing procedures
    • Telephone communication skills
    • Contact Lens Training
    • Clinical Protocols
    • Pearle Certified Eyecare
    • Company policies on safety, diversity, HIPAA, and loss prevention
    • Leadership and management skills
  • Encourage decision-making at the associate level closest to patient interactions.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to Associate Doctors and associates.
  • Address performance issues promptly in collaboration with the Store Manager, initiating necessary disciplinary actions when required.
  • Assist the Store Manager in conducting annual performance evaluations for Associate Doctors and provide feedback for store associates' reviews.
  • Work together with the Store Manager to achieve overall store success.
  • Aim to exceed expectations in key performance areas, including:
    • Secret shopper evaluations
    • Sales targets
    • Growth in eye exams
    • Store profitability
    • Adherence to Clinical Protocols
    • Key Performance Indicators
  • Recruit and select high-quality staff in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Accurately forecast staffing needs based on business trends.
  • Ensure compliance with staffing and scheduling guidelines.
  • Oversee the receipt of contact lens diagnostics and physical inventory.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of Managed Vision Care claims.
  • Take responsibility for ordering doctor's office supplies and company-approved forms promptly.
  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the office and store, ensuring visual displays align with company standards.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry degree.
  • Proficient knowledge of current Optometric technologies and practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, and skills. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan may also be offered, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package.
