We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead our team in delivering advanced Torpedo Guidance and Control systems for the US Navy.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a program and manage a team of engineers responsible for successfully delivering advanced systems.
- Advance the GDMS technical vision, meet customer commitments, and foster innovation.
- Develop and maintain engineering plans, risks, and opportunities, follow change management processes, and ensure all engineering processes adhere to GDMS and Program specific standards and practices.
- Manage engineering resources, organizational interfaces, and engineering scope.
- Provide input to the engineering leadership for potential areas of Research and Development.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Past system engineering background, as well as leadership experience, including cost, scheduling, and technical management.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
